Get to Know Dr. ‘Joe’ Mikluscak
Dr. Joe is originally from Uniontown, Pennsylvania (just outside of Pittsburgh), and moved to the Manassas area because the opportunity presented itself after meeting his wife (who originally grew up around this area). Dr. Joe fell in love with the ‘busyness’ and variety of activities and restaurants in the Manassas and surrounding area.
Dr. Joe earned a doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2001 and participated in the clinic abroad program to provide free chiropractic care to people in Vietnam. Dr. Joe brings a personal passion to chiropractic care and is dedicated to helping patients recover from a range of injuries so they can resume their normal activities, including day-to-day tasks and more challenging physical activities. He specializes in treating patients of all ages, including infants, and is committed to improving the community’s health and overall wellness by using non-invasive, drug-free techniques.
Dr. Joe also received several certificates, including:
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 2001
Clinical Excellence Award in 2007
St. Jude Children’s Hospital Certificate of Appreciation in 2016
In his personal time, he actively plays on an ice hockey team in a men’s league and cheers on his son in basketball as he learns the rules. Additionally, he also enjoys watching his daughter perform on stage in ballet, either in competition or performing at the Hilton performing arts stage.
If you love movies, be sure to tell Dr. Joe your favorite movies, as he is a sucker for seeing movies regularly at the theater, and loves trying ethnic cuisine from throughout the Northern Virginia area. If you have a good “Dad joke” make sure you bring it to the office, because this office likes a lot of laughter, and Dr. Joe has some famously bad “dad jokes”.
Overall Dr. Joe loves adjusting, being active, and making life fun for his patients. That is why he wants to help patients enjoy life and not be in pain.
